    Hello,
I have used Stripe as payment gateway in woocommerce site. Before updating, it was working perfectly. But now after updating the stripe plugin to latest version, all my customers are unable to make the payment during checkout process. I already have SSL certificate enabled.

Also in backend it is displaying “WooCommerce Stripe – We see that you had the “Require 3D secure when applicable” setting turned on. This setting is not available here anymore, because it is now replaced by Stripe Radar. You can learn more about it here.”

I am unable to resolve the issue. Kindly guide me ASAP. I am losing my sales.

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @megha2023!

WooCommerce Stripe – We see that you had the “Require 3D secure when applicable” setting turned on. This setting is not available here anymore, because it is now replaced by Stripe Radar. You can learn more about it here.

This is only a notice, stating that you can now control whether 3D Secure is required within Stripe’s Dashboard, instead of the plugin. It should in no way prevent your customers from paying.

In order to troubleshoot the issue, please provide some details about what’s going on: Logs, Order notes, particular messages, etc. Otherwise we have nothing to start with: Your checkout page seems to be set up correctly.

    Best regards,
    Rado

    Hi John

Have you been able to resolve your issue

Having exactly the same one.. customers saying they cannot pay (whatever credit card they choose).

The issue is brand new (everything was fine before)

    Hi @megha2023,

In order to help you troubleshoot the issue, can you provide us with any Stripe Logs during the times of these failed orders, Order notes, messages, etc? This will help us get to the root of the issue.

    Thanks!

I am having the same issue. The fields for stripe payment don’t show so there is nowhere for customer to input the credit card as normal at checkout. I’ve had to turn it off and only use Paypal as intuitively people click submit order (with Stripe option checkbox) and it automatically fails payment. Last Stripe order last night 8.39pm (NZST)

I tried turning off the dynamic pricing plugin (referred to above) but no difference.
Stripe is currently turned off as too many failed orders. I also deleted and reinstalled Stripe plugin.

Everything is updated. Earlier yesterday and at least 6-8 hours before issues started.

ALSO having general Woocommerce cart issues – not sure if they are related? You can’t add or subtract quantities in the cart, or update the cart if you manually type in quantity numbers.

Any advice would be amazing! Thank you.

    Hi @nickycc

It sounds like you have a theme or plugin conflict going on. I know you tested by temporarily deactivating the dynamic pricing plugin, but I would encourage you to run a full test by switching to a default theme and then deactivating all plugins. You can read the testing process in more detail here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/

Of course, you’ll want to backup your site content before making any changes, and you could always duplicate the site for testing purposes if you don’t want to interrupt the live site.

ALSO having general Woocommerce cart issues – not sure if they are related? You can’t add or subtract quantities in the cart, or update the cart if you manually type in quantity numbers.

This is also likely due to a conflict of sorts, and the above testing should help you find a culprit.

Because we haven’t heard back from the OP, I’m going to mark this thread as Resolved now. Please feel free to open a new thread if you have any further problems.
