Cron job issue- need advice

    We are running into this issue.

    We have installed this plugin. Now, for the Cron jobs, if we go to the Cron jobs page, and click on execute now, the job will execute correctly.

    If we put https://ourdonain.com/WP-Cron.php to the browser, it will not generate any error, but the tasks we want to execute will stay in the queue for ever.

    If we leave it to the Cron job without manual intervention, the Cron job will execute according to the log, but the task will stay in the queue forever without getting executed.

    What may we do to correct this?

    Hi Jing,

    in this case, I’d suggest doing the health check of your website – you can find it within the Tools menu in the latest WordPress – it should show you any problems with your website including the Cron issues.

    Then I’d recommend enabling Server cron and adding a crontab event, ACM will help you do that if you activate the option.
