Immediately block the IP of these usernames not working

  • Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames is not working.
    Im useing the free version. 20 different ip tried admin which is the block word. The plugin did not automatically ban these ip

    Can you take a screenshot of Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic? Expand one of the rows where they attempted the username admin and were not blocked.

    Note that you cannot block a username that exists in the system.

    block history
    failed login detail

    The admin and admins are not in the system. Also I set the fail attemp to 2 yesterday. Today it shows someone tried 5 times are not getting blocked. In block history, reasons with H are manually banned ip.

    Hi there!

    I am currently facing this issue too. There is an IP address that tried to log in 3 times within the last 14 hours with the username which I have entered as a block username.

    Is there any way to resolve this? Thank you!

    This issue is still there. I blocked the user “admin” but NO ip is blocked if someone tries to login as admin

    Looks like this is an old bug. Maybe it is because my wordfence is in learning mode??? not sure.
