Can’t upgrade free version

  • We installed the free version from here on WP.org and are trying to update to the latest version and the only option we have is to upgrade to the paid version. Do we have to delete the plugin and upload the new one? Or is the paid version required?

    To update the free version, you do not need to purchase the paid version. If you have an older version of the plugin installed, you should just have to go to the plugins page in your WordPress admin and find the entry for the NMI Gateway for WooCommerce. There should be a note saying “There is a new version of NMI Gateway for WooCommerce Available”. There should also be a link for more details and a link that says ‘update now’. You should just have to click on the ‘update now’ link and it will install the newer version.

    Otherwise, you can download the latest version from WP.org, deactivate and uninstall the outdated version on your site, and then upload the latest version.
