Message Notifications giving False Indications

  • Members are reporting that they are getting False Message notifications. They are being told by flashing notifier that they have up to 10 new messages and when they go to Messages, there are “None” there. I’m getting several reports of this same issue from different members. Am I missing something in the Settings? Members Annoyed.
    Just recently installed the plugin, hopefully this can be resolved.

    1. Is it happening to all users of some of users?
    2. Is it happening to your account?
    3. Do you have any custom code for this plugin in your website?
    4. If possible can you guide me how to reproduce this?
