    I tried to change the template of my site I chose Ocean Theme for its speed and friendship to SEO after that i installed it on a free hosting for try the new theme before, I chose (personal coach demo), I’ve edit the homepage I chose the pictures with the same dimensions of the images Demo but when trying the speed of the site I found it slow
    i tried to use robin image optimizer and Autoptimize plugins but without result

  • Hello,

    Try to use a cache plugin with a CDN service to improve the performance. Also, go to Dashboard > Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles and disable those scripts that you are not using.

    The messages from Google Pagespeed are point towards server issues not theme issues to be honest.

    Eliminate render-blocking resources 2.44 s
    Reduce server response times (TTFB) 1.71 s

    Those two items are server config and a caching plugin will help a lot.

    Pingdom test also mentioned compression.

    Not sure any of this is theme related. I can get into the 90’s but I don’t start with the demo projects which often use sliders and slow stuff like that…..
