[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Nextgen plugin won’t load into WP

Samboll, thank you for responding, however, it did not work for me. I overwrote the http.php file through ftp, and still got the same message:
Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

I got NextGen Gallery loaded. I couldn’t do it by having WP get it from my desktop. I went through the ‘add’ a plugin panel, searched for it, and was able to load it.

I’m still learning things. One of the things I’m learning is that there is often more than one way to do something.

delocurr, did u make sure tht new file replaced the old one?

also about wht u just learned, yes there are mostly multiple ways of doing the same thing.

I just deactivated Next Gen gallery and was able to upload a plugin.
