• Hi,

I’ve set up a website using the “Minimal Portfolio” theme, which includes the “Filterable Portfolio” plugin. Unfortunately, the portfolio doesn’t work properly on iOS devices. The portfolio works fine on a desktop and on Android devices. But when using an iPhone the images aren’t clickable, and the headlines and “Details” button don’t show.

A strange thing is that it works fine when I’m logged in as an WP administrator, but when visiting the site as a regular visitor, it doesn’t work.

    /K

  • @kebbon In order for anyone to be able to give you any hints, you need to provide more information. If you go back and edit your initial question (up to 60 minutes from time posted), then you can add a link to a page where the problem can be seen in a special field that will only be visible to logged-in users (i.e. that link won’t be indexed by search bots, for instance).

I am also having the same problem. On https://molecularconstruction.ca/residential, when viewed with Safari on any ios mobile device (not Safari on a desktop though), the images do not darken, the name of the portfolio item doesn’t appear and the details button doesn’t show up. So basically it’s just an image, because there is no way to click through to view the individual portfolio’s page. It does work on Android mobile devices – you tap the image and then it starts the action of the image darkening, the name showing, and the details button appearing. Just not iPhone/iPad devices. Tapping the image does nothing. Any ideas?

@tobifjellner or @kebbon or @jenfilgate, your portfolios appear to be working correctly now on IOS – can you share the solution? Thanks!

I had to switch it to Theme One – Classic Layout to get it to work. Theme Two was the one causing the problem.

Same here – I didn’t get Theme Two to work, so I switched to Theme One.
