• The store to create on this component is not worth it. Better to find professional solutions. On this plugin it is simply impossible to simply take and new attributes to 150 products an additional choice of 4 points, if you already have 3 atributes in your goods. Otherwise changing one product with three choices of drop-down menus from three points in each will result in it being 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 options in each product. And now count if you have such goods 150 or 1000? then you will manually add new attributes to your products for a year. the programmers of this plugin are very short-sighted! If you want loading variable goods via Export/Import – it not work ?? and support write – you can use another plugin. LOL, that is very funny.

@ut4utc Regarding the number of variations, there is no need to attach each attribute to a unique variation, that is what the “any” option is for. Only time you would want to create unique variations for each combination is when the price for each variation is different or unique, even then you would only create a variation for those with specific rules and the rest you cover under a single “any” variation.

The programmers of this plugin are very stupid

Really not nice of you to insult the people working on the plugin or anyone for that matter, I know you are frustrated but insulting the people that are trying to help you is not the way to go about this, doing that will just make them less likely to want to assist you.

support write – you can use another stupid plugin

Could you perhaps point me to where this was said as our support staff should not be saying this to a customer, and if they did I apologize and would like to find out where this was said and by whom so we can address it.

Hopefully, we can restore your faith in us and the product and help you achieve what you want to turn this 1-star rating into a 5-star one.

Is it really only for me that this situation – when there is a product of the same color – it has its own price, there is also another option – if one color comes with a different width, then another price …

I won’t believe that it is just me that I have 4 options and All combinations have their own price – because when you search in Google – just a lot of articles on the subject that import / export does not work, that it is just terrible if you have 4 options with different prices, then this is 81 created options ..

in general it turns out that your plugin is only for very unpretentious shops, the rest can not create any automatic import/export, as if you just tried once to test your import/export by installing 2 stores on two servers and importing goods from one and exporting this file to another – you would see what was going on there – from the lack of each product binding to options, to various incorrect statuses “not available for sale.” and it’s out of the box.

I’ve been in IT for 10 years and worked with different companies, if it weren’t for my clients who simply wanted to switch to Joomla, I would never advise using such a plugin.

In support there are a lot of unclosed questions, everywhere the same performance problems and the fact that the design and code worked very little time, because there are many errors, the quality is very mediocre. This is my opinion, sorry if I’m wrong.

Instead of variations have you tried using product addons? Might be easier to set up for you if you have lots of combinations https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/

    > because when you search in Google – just a lot of articles on the subject that import / export does not work, that it is just terrible if you have 4 options with different prices, then this is 81 created options.

Fair point, however, we have documentation on this, variations are a complex system yet when you fully understand how to set it up and maintain it is very powerfull and easy to use.

    > the rest can not create any automatic import/export,
It can, you just need to couple it with a service that can consume webhooks. For example, set up a webhook when you change a product and have it post to a service like Zapier, then from there you can use the REST API on the other site to update the product on that side.

You can also use normal import/export files you will just want edit the file a bit before importing it since by default it will try and match by ID which will obviously be different from site to site, to make this work you will have to use the sku instead.

    > I’ve been in IT for 10 years and worked with different companies, if it weren’t for my clients who simply wanted to switch to Joomla, I would never advise using such a plugin.

Also to answer your original question, you can auto create variation by using the dropdown https://cld.wthms.co/w5mQQg That might be the option you are looking for to easily create the variations, instead of having to do it manually.

Being used to another platform there will always be some learning curve and figuring out how things work before you get used to it, since you are not familiar with WooCommerce I can understand that you find it dificult or frustrating because it does not work the same way as a platform you are used to.

    > In support there are a lot of unclosed questions, everywhere the same performance problems and the fact that the design and code worked very little time

Yes, we understand there are a lot of unanswered question but also remember this is a free platform and it is not always possible for us to respond to every single one, yet we try our best. Also if you happen to own a premium extension you can contact support directly at WooCommmerce.com/support which will give you much quicker support and they will resolve issues for you by personally evaluating and looking at your site.

Regarding the performance, our latest release is the fastest version of WooCommerce yet, it boast speed improvements of up to 60% in some instances. We have found that most stores having performance issues are traced back to hosting setup or use of a badly written theme or extension not part of the official WooCommerce product line.

Regarding the quality being mediocre remark, sorry to hear you feel that way. I can assure you we have very competent and skilled developers working on the plugin and we follow strict coding guidelines and have all the tools and services in place to ensure our code quality it top.

If you own a premium WooCommerce extension from WooCommerce.com I would highly suggest you contact support there instead so they can give you a more personalised look at the issues you are experiencing and hopefully are able to change your view on our product.
