  • if you mean the space between the comment boxes, that is controlled by:

    .commentlist li {
    	margin: 15px 0 10px;
    	padding: 5px 5px 10px 10px;
    	list-style: none;
    	font-weight: bold;
    	font: 0.9em 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    }

    you can change the ‘margin’; the figures are in the sequence: topmargin, left/rightmargin, bottommargin.

    the backgrounde images are in the folder:

    by the way: are you aware that you can style you google ads to match the style of your page?
    that is – to me – more distracting than the style of your search box ??

    Thanks for the reply!

    I actually figured out the comments error. The code that was already present for next and previous comment links was what was causing the spacing, and I yanked it and it’s great. Not sure what the point of those were. Maybe for paging through comments?

    Ah, thanks for that. I kept looking in an “images” folder and got nowhere, that’s great.

    Google ads – They definitely need some tweaking, though when they’re running flash or graphic ads, it looks sweet. I wish the theme accommodated a 728×90 versus the 300×250 though, as I hate having that be the lead unit. Oh well.. How much can I style them? You mean setting background colors, etc?

    yes, background color, font color, individual color of the link etc – from within the google page where you make the ads.
