Design problems with imported theme
-
So I’ve discovered a whole world of hurt when trying to modifying this template. ?? I’m hoping someone can clue me in as I can’t figure out how to move these elements within the templates themselves, or in the CSS (which admittedly is very foreign to me).
Here’s the site:

1. Large gaps in on my single post pages around the comment area. Shares number of responses, big gap. Comment. Big gap.
Example (1 comment):

So I installed some Google Custom Search app but unfortunately, there seems to be no easy way of tying it to the existing search. How do you go about aligning that in the templates? It just needs to be finessed a bit.
3. How do I find the background images used in the theme on my site as well? Is that in one of the Template pages, or the CSS? Can’t seem to locate it anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
