  • I am having the same problem. I went back to a previous email template and duplicated it with success. This issue should be resolved quickly, please.

Hi, are you editing an old newsletter or a new one?

Could be a bug when duplicating old newsletters created with the composer. We’re checking it.

    Stefano.

After sending a newsletter, using the duplicate function to create a new one. The new one presents the odd formatting and there seems to be no way to convert it back to the builder. My only solution is to keep one newsletter that has never been sent, in order to duplicate that one for future use.

Ok so the problem seems connected to sent newsletters. I’ll try to reproduce the problem.

Hi, newly sent newsletter can be duplicated without problems. I’m checking how to fix old sent newsletter as well.

Incidentally, is it still possible to access that much maligned poor tabular version? I noticed one can also work directly on the code there, which is not possible in the block version.

Believe it or not, for another volunteer site, I now suddenly actually really need that tabular version so as to be able to change the background in the code of a newsletter, and I can no longer find a way to access it, as on that site I have already updated the Newsletter Plugin!

    Am I overlooking something?

    Kind regards,

Hi, newsletters created with the drag and drop composer can converted (one way) to HTML, since once manipulated probably they couldn’t recognized by the composer.

Newsletters created using a theme, are edited using the tinymce editor a version similar to the classic wp editor.

Basically I need to add a background image, which the club was in the habit of using in their earlier Newsletter tool.
Perhaps there is a way to do this without converting to HTML first, Stefano?
    Kind regards,

Actually not, we’ll add the newsletter wide options (like the background) shortly.
