VERIFICATION REQUIRED issue

    Hi,

    Yesterday I installed this plugin on my site but today one of my collaborators complain about he cant access site…

    “VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Additional verification is required for login. Please check the email address associated with the account for a verification link”

    He told me he try to access then receive the error, go to the process of verification… he receive the mail, do the clic and then validate OK but when try to access then same error again and he must begin the varification again and again.

    We have the URL redirected to another url and wp-admin hidded.

    This user is a “editor” role, im admin and has no problems.

    Any idea?

    After updating the server cache to accept the verification links there is other problem… now users can login but they are getting the verification link every session/day they try to login.

    Any idea?

    Thanks for the follow-up.

    I’m happy to hear they’re now able to login using the link that is sent. Regarding as to why they’re having to use it, it’s Google magic. Google “scores” a user and flags them if it’s low to send the extra verification link. Unfortunately, this is something that’s out of our control. Also, there really isn’t a way for us to know exactly why this happens, we aren’t privileged to their algorithm.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Im afraid plugin or google score is marking ALL users + ALL times like “low”… so only alternative its to unistall plugin and use other.
