protected posts nix comments

  • I’m using 1.3a5 and if I password protect a post, once the pw is entered the user (nor myself, when logged in as admin) can see the comments not have the option ‘to’ comment….searched the forum but didn’t see another like it posted…anyone else seeing this? I don’t password protect much, and yes I realize its an alpha release….

    its been 5 days…anyone have idea’s?

    Just tested by password protecting a post – no problems here.

    Beel,
    Your post made me think of something…I was using wp-comment.php from an older ver (not 1.3a5). I up’ed the new file and it reads the pass just fine. Thanks for knocking something around for me up there ??
