Broken 404 Links But Not Broken

  • My site reliefteaching.com is producing a lot of false 404 errors on pages which are not broken. I am receiving broken links alerts from my plugin. I am also getting reports of false 404 errors from www.brokenlinkcheck.com. However, when I copy the URL into the browser bar on incognito tabs.

    Does anyone have an idea what would cause false 404 errors?

    I have disabled cache plugins.

  • Did you try resetting your permalinks in wp admin area-> Settings-> permalinks?
    This usually helps most clients out.

    Thanks Salasio. My permalinks are on post name. Which has not changed – ever. So are you suggesting I change to something else?
