Is it possible to publish a WordPress post from an Instagram post?

  • Is it possible with this plugin to actually publish a WordPress post from an Instagram post and insert that posts Instagram into the published WordPress post? Or even just set it as Draft for later publishing?

    The reason I ask is for a magazine that wants to publish its Instagram feed to WordPress, but we want each post as a WordPress post and not listed as a shortcode on a page. That way we get the benefit of SEO optimization per post. We can send the Instagram object to the post and then either set a custom post format for all Instagram posts or we can not do that and just update the any post triggered by an Instagram post with some descriptive copy if need be.

    Hey Tony,

    Your use case makes sense but there isn’t any way to do this with the plugin currently. We are working on a more extensible version of the plugin in a major update. It would likely be possible then.
