    Hello there,

I am using SiteOrigin PageBuilder to design StoreFront Theme. But CSS Tables like

    1. Table with different color in odd and even row
    2. Table with hover for row
    3. Table with Horizontal Dividers
    4. Striped Tables

does not work in properly. When I keep the code in a local .html file in my computer, it looks nice. But when I use it in wordpress site – it looks odd.

    I used two different ways:
    1. Custom HTML
    2. SiteOrigin Editor
    3. Even with external CSS tool.

But it’s a mess. You can copy code from the link for test.

    Looking for solution.
    Regards!

Hi there ?? Thanks for posting.

Please, can you confirm the problem is with Page Builder? If you’re using the Classic Editor, try the table in the Text tab of a test page. Alternatively, in the Block Editor try the table inserted into a Custom HTML block. Is the output different?

    Hi,
I am using WordPress 4.9.10 with latest version of Storefront Theme and latest version of SiteOrigin.

    I used

    1. Custom HTML
    2. SiteOrigin Editor (Text)

Now after getting your reply i used text widget. But still worse.

If you have any email address, I can send you .html file that you can test in local server by XAMPP Control.

    Thanks.

If you’re using pre-WP 5.0, please create a regular page, without using Page Builder, test the table and see what the result is.

    * Go to Pages > Add New.
    * Call the page “Test” or any name of your choosing.
    * Click the Text tab, *not* Page Builder.
    * Insert your HTML table.
    * Save and view the page, does the issue still persist?

The goal of the above test is to see how the table is being rendered by the theme when *not* in Page Builder.

    Yes,
You are right. Same thing happens without SiteOrigin. I apologize for wrong allegation.

I have been using SiteOrigin since the beginning. So, when it did not work, I thought it’s the problem of SiteOrigin. I forgot that a normal editor exists.

Thanks for your prompt reply and assistance.

    Regards!

No problem at all. If you’d like, I could have a quick look, please send a link to your test page.

    Sure ??

Your styles are being wrapped in paragraph tags. Try checking the page with your browser’s inspector, look in the style tags above the table. The styles aren’t very long so you could just add them to Customize > Additional CSS.
