Error: The download could not be verified.

    When I click on a file to download, I get a blank page with this message: ‘Sorry. The download could not be verified’.

    What happened?

    It means the nonce is failing. Either the nonce expired since the page loaded, or there is a http/https mismatch between front-end and back-end of your site. Are you using https on some parts of the site but not others?

    The whole site is https, but the original site was not. Had to make adjustments to some pages/images after installing the certificate.

    Have you selected the HTTPS option on the File Away settings page Base URL setting?

    Have you saved your File Away settings since you migrated your site?
