Multiple items not calculated properly

The plugin calculates the shipping for one item it appears properly, however, when adding multiples of the same item or different items the plugin does not behave properly. In the first case the shipping cost remains the same no matter how many of the same item are added. In the second case if I mix items the fedex plugin doesn’t show any rates.
