Can’t login

    Hi

    For some reason I can no longer log into the WP backend on any of the sites users.

    There is no error message – It just won’t let me in.

    It is possible to login if I deactivate WordFence through ftp.

  • Hi @hassenkam,

    Can you check if you’ve been rate-limited by Wordfence? You can check by going into Wordfence -> Firewall -> Blocking.

    If you’d rather want to leave Wordfence deactivated, you can run the following query to remove all blocks:

    DELETE FROM wp_wfblocks7;

    It says No blocks are currently active.

    I can deactivate wordfence through MySQL > login > activate again through sql > and then use the dashboard

    But if I logout I can’t login again

    Sorry for the delay.

    Are you using 2FA on the site?

    Also, can you try changing themes and disabling the other plugins on the site and see if you’re able to login at that point.

    woow that was late, and as written in other threads I’m not using 2FA.

    Only thing I have to do to login is disabling Wordfence through FTP, so the problem must be from you plugin.

    Could you please send me over diagnostics via Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > Send Report by Email to wftest at wordfence dot com

    It sounds like something is conflicting with the login flow.

    Do you have the Login Security > reCAPTCHA enabled currently?

    Resolving as customer reports the login is working now.
