WordPress Titles: Dash / Hyphen in Title causing Special Characters

I have been using ” Dash ” or ” Hyphen ” in my titles for the past 2 – 3 years.

But today I came to know that it is not good to have Special Characters in Title which is mostly our H1 or H2 Tag on a page.

I am mostly seeing “–” this in title on all of my wordpress posts.

Could you anyone suggest me a way to get rid of it ?
