post Thumbnail/ featured image only shown to logged in users

Hi @shouldvelearnedit,

The ultimate member doesn’t hide thumbnails, it looks like a conflict with your theme or other plugins.
Please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

thanks, I’ll do that test.
Does it mean the lines 1195 to 1223 in class-access.php are ineffective? Same for the checkbox “attachment” in the acces-tab of the plugin-settings?

Did the test; thumbnails became visible after deactivating UM-plugin (turned every other plugin off beforehand).

Solved.

Added the line from:
https://github.com/ultimatemember/ultimatemember/commits/master
to class-access.php and the filter “add_filter(“um_restrict_post_thumbnail”,”__return_true”);” to the functions.php…
does the job.

Did not notice the “reply and mark as resolved”-checkbox, sorry..
