Use WP as an instructor’s tool?

  • Hi folks,

    I am an college insturctor planning to use WP to publish announcements, assignments, etc for a course. So far it seems to be a feasiable idea. However, there is a potential problem. Suppose the first semester runs great. When the second arrives, I want to hide all old posts and republish them one by one throughout the semester with some minor changes. Is there a way to implement this task with WP?

  • So far the easy, but long route would be when you edit the post, change the status of the post from published to draft. Then when you want to repost, go into the draft and change the status back to publish. You can also change the published date.
