Plugin “has error” and deleted

    The MC4WP plugin stopped working and the WordPress backend initially showed an error stating something like “Mail Chimp for WP has error – plugin deactivated” but the plugin was completely removed!

    I tried to reinstall and get this error: Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

    Very odd. What can we do?

    Having not received a response, I went ahead and re-named the old directory for MC4WP and reinstalled the plugin. It appears to be working now.
