Read More showing up twice of MailChimp RSS Feed

Hi everyone,

Thanks in advance for any help! I’m new to WordPress and cannot code. At all. ?? I want to create an RSS feed email using Mailchimp so that my blog readers can get notified by email whenever I post a new blog article. Everything works great except for one problem. When I set up the RSS feed to show just an excerpt (which I want because I want them to come to my blog website to finish reading the article), it says “read more read more” instead of just “read more.”

I’ve “talked” with MailChimp and they feel the issue stems from the WordPress theme – I THINK the MailChimp system is interpreting the “read more” instructions for a text reader as text that is meant to be visible, but that’s strictly a guess.

As I said, I don’t know how to code so if instructions to fix this involve coding, please be as specific as possible.
