Mentions us

  • Hi there,

    I installed this plug in today and it really does just what we needed.

    However I have run into a couple of minor issues with it.

    Firstly, I cannot turn off the mentions us widget. There is a “hide widget” button which does nothing when I press it and a dropdown to display or hide comment us comment box with a “submit” button which also does nothing.

    Second, when I use the comment widget or activity widget I get a list of comments or activities with a correct heading but the activity_inner div show “$post variable not set in the majority of cases.

    I’ve fixed the first issue, update coming.

    Regarding your second issue, I’m not seeing that problem. I posted a comment to the group and the activity_inner had the correct content. If you look at the groups activity page, do those activity items have the Content set? The widget feed should look identical to how it looks in activity.

    Thanks for the fix. I am able to remove the mentions us widget fine now.

    I am not seeing my second issue either. In fact previously even when I set the number of activity items or number of comments to 3 it was still showing 10. Now it shows only 2 activity items and only 1 comment so I think possibly it was actually showing items it should not have been rather than items without content set.

    All looks good now,
