Bulk edit with no category selected

Ok here is the problem. I have 109 posts under 2 different categories. When trying to BULK>EDIT them (after filtering them and selecting only the posts with the exact same 2 categories), for some reason, in the “Categories [more]” Box, the categories that the posts belongs to, are not showing up. Because of this I can not remove a category and leave just one. On the other hand, this is possible only if I “quick edit” a specific post, where I can see both of the categories checked.
It would be GREAT if multiple categories would be selected within the BLUK>EDIT option.
