Nimble editor has issues

    I am on a local MAMP server.

    I have created a new host today, with a latest release wordpress, removed all extensions, only nimble builder left.

    2 issues with the builder :
    * in the pick a section section, none of the sub list items appears (inspect element shows empty UL)
    * when drag n drop a 2, 3 of 4 sections into a section, I get “updateAPISetting => sek-add-content-in-new-sektion => Error with self.getPresetSectionCollection()”.

    Other errors : on the console I can see when opening the builder “Error while parsing the ‘sandbox’ attribute: ‘allow-orientation-lock’, ‘allow-presentation’ are invalid sandbox flags.” (load-scripts.php 4:11376).

    Is there something I can do ?

    downgrading to previous version seems to fix these issues.

    hello @ezhikorn thank you for reporting these issues.
    I’m not able to reproduce those problems on a local server unfortunately.
    If you re-upgrade Nimble to the latest version, does it work now ?
    If you switch theme, does it solve the problem ?

    Hi, thank you for you attention on my post. I have tried this yesterday (re upgrade, switch to theme nineteenth), then did it again today, same result. I have another wordpress on the same MAMP server that had the 1.7.3 and I didn’t notice it because I have been already through the early design steps, and it presents the same issues. Upgrading to 1.7.4 does not fix it.
    On the latest wordpress, there is nothing installed, I have removed all plugins but the nimble builder, and themes, only the current wordpress default themes and customizr. I started a child them but I removed it too, so it is pretty naked. cleared the caches several times of course.
    On the plugin archive, the latest available is 1.4.13 and it works well.
    I am on a Mac OS and I use safari as primary navigator, all things at the latest release. PHP 7 on the server. if you give me access to the whole nimble builder history, let say starting 1.7.0, I can test each of them and quickly give you an update to help to narrow down the change when the issue happened : I think there is only one in fact, and it is around the “sandbox” flags. In the minified script it is very difficult to locate it. I am ready to reverse engineer a little bit this part but you are in the better place with the sources at hand directly with all the comments around. or is there a git where I can have a look ?

    OK thanks for those informations.
    It might be due to a communication problem between your local server and the remote Nimble Builder api site, on which Nimble remotely fetches the pre-built section data.

    I don’t see any network activity to a Nimble api site. There are no network errors. tried in Chrome, same issues, different error messages (about a facebook frame – not sure how this link to Nimble builder).
    I will work with the old version and will try every new version you publish.

    Hi, sorry for the delay, I got the time to test the previous versions of the nimble builder and it is the 1.6.7 that is the last working one, 1.7.0 is starting to show the issue and nothing better to the current one.

    Hi, back to this issue, I have installed the today latest version, 1.8.6 , and the issue does not appear, the pre build sections are there as expected. I can close this issue then. Thanks.
