User Data Storage, Display, and Modification

  • Hello,
    I am looking for a plugin that will allow me to create a set of data related to a specific user.

    i.e. User123, Dataset 1 (for User123), Dataset 2 (for User123)
    User 456, Dataset 1 (for User456), Dataset 2 (for User456)

    I will need the plugin to store the data, and then allow me display that data on a page, preferably to show only the data related to that user (i.e. User123’s data can’t be seen by User456 and vice versa). I also need to be able to easily modify the data from some form of administrative console (i.e. not by going into the database directly).

    I have been searching for something that will allow me to do this but have not been able to find anything…

    Can anyone recommend something?

    Might take a bit of coding to get the theme to display what you want.

    Thanks for the quick post. I will take a look and see if I can make it work. My expertise in coding PHP is limited to say the least so I may need something more “user friendly”.

    So I have played with that plugin some more, but it doesn’t exactly allow me the freedom of data input that I would like to have. It only allows text input of data, there is no way to use radio button or drop down menus.

    Any other thoughts?

    Your best bet is the Register Plus plugin. It allows you to create a completely custom registration form. I don’t know about retrieving data about other users, though. That’s what I’m searching for now.
