I am attempting update the wordpress version .But The version is not upgrading.

    My website has the wordpress version 4.9.1 . I am attempting upgrade by clicking on ” please attempt the update again now ” link. But the upgrade is not happening. its saying – ” You have the latest version of WordPress”. But i can see the version is still 4.9.1 its not 5.1.1 .
