Hi! I have just installed your plugin. It is indeed great and before this, I have tried all analytics plugins one by one. This is indeed the best of all. I have an issue. I want to exclude admin analytics as they are causing a lot of confusion. The plugin is tracking all my own visits of pages and posts. I had the same problem in other plugins. And when I reported this to their support, they said I have the google adsense kinda codes on my site so it is counting all of my visits too. Now I cannot remove those codes, they have to be there too. Plus I wish to continue using the plugin too. Can’t you people add a feature in the plugin which enables admins to exclude tracking besides having other adsense kinda codes too? It will be a big help for the admins and it will not only improve your plugin but I believe it can be a competitive advantage for you people. Currently, if you have any solution, kindly help.

    Best regards,
    Sana

  • Hi Sana,

There are settings in Analytify where you can easily exclude the admin from tracking https://prntscr.com/njczvt. As for “google adsense kinda codes” I checked your site and found that its a Google Analytics code (gtag) which you added manually. It has no link with the Google Adsense. I will suggest you remove the manually added Google Analytics code and let the Analytify add the Google Analytics code.

There is a second way If you don’t want to remove the manually added Google Analytics code. Go to https://analytics.google.com and add your IP address in Google Analytics Filter https://prntscr.com/njd17q

That was successful. Thanks for the solution. One last thing, I can see that this plugin gives us data in terms of views. One visitor can generate more than one views of our different pages. Can we filter the stats according to visitors only and not the views?
