Currently there’s an article in the Knowledge Base re: removing the SEO Analysis, but this only removes the UI. Under the hood, queries like the FocusKW query still happens. This can be an expensive query on large sites, and simply doesn’t make sense on some sites. Any chance we can see an update with a filter allowing us to actually disable this?

  • Hi,

Yoast does not have the ability to disable the query. Hwoever, we thank you for suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins. We’re not working on it at the moment but we’ll create a feature request for this, so our developers can consider this when planning updates.

You can follow it here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/8297

We suggest commenting on the issue so you may be kept aware of updates. You may need an account in order to post.
