send if private post

    A certain group of users are able to read and comment on private posts. But they cannot receive notifications on private posts:

    sub_post_status_not_publish — Not applicable; $sub_post->post_status not publish. The post may have been set to a draft (or another unpublished status) before processing began.

    I’ve looked through the settings but see nothing for allowing private published posts to process/send notifications. Is there another way? These posts are privately published and are not drafts.

    Is it really published? The plugin subscribes to the “new comment” filter, so it should work unless there is no other plugin/different integration interfering with this.

    Yes, people have been commenting and status is privately published. The error I get back as to why it didn’t send is:

    sub_post_status_not_publish — Not applicable; $sub_post->post_status not publish. The post may have been set to a draft (or another unpublished status) before processing began.

    But the post it is doing it on is indeed published.

    I use MailBank for my email processor so will see if it’s them causing the problem. Thank you.
