Is there a way of defining the WPP images uploads directory root folder, as the plugin thinks that its images are being stored on a Google Cloud Storage bucket alongside my WordPress media files (which I configured using the WP-Stateless plugin) – when they are not. Any pointers most helpful. Thanks otherwise for a good plugin, Matt

    Hi @mattgerrish,

WordPress Popular Posts uses the wp_get_upload_dir() function to determine the path to the uploads folder. My guess is that the WP-Stateless plugin is somehow hooking into that function to change the path so it points to GCS instead.

You’ll want to get in touch with the developers of the WP-Stateless plugin and ask them if there’s a way to exclude certain folders generated by themes/plugins so the function mentioned above returns the “stock” path instead.
