    Hoping someone can help.

I am using Elementor for a simple site setup. My logo is text, not a picture. Problem is, I’m getting this on every single page which means duplicate H1’s I dont want.

    <div class=”mobile-logo”><h1 class=”site-title”>Me</h1>

If I upload a picture logo, the problem goes away, but I prefer to use text.

How can I remove this H1, or at the least change it to a H6?

To be clear, selecting the text and changing the heading tag makes no difference as that affects the title which is.

    <h6 class=”elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default”>Me</h6>

So changing the title heading, has no effect on the mobile logo which I cant specify within my theme.

Anyone? Solving this would be much appreciated.

  • If you are using the free version of Elementor, the theme is controlling your logo and header output, so you’ll need to ask for help from your theme’s support.

If you are using the theme builder functionality to design your own header with Elementor Pro, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com. www.remarpro.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here. But while we’re here, I’ll just mention that instead of using the logo in text format, just use the Site Title widget instead. The widget allows you to specify which tag to use.

As you said, if you create an image with your text logo it works fine but not with actual text. You said ” but I prefer to use text” . I don’t mean to be harsh but why would you waste your time searching for a solution when there is already a simple answer? I realize the procedure is not what you prefer but the end result is the same. If this is your logo, how many times are you going to change this in the life of your web site? I’m sure moving forward you will find many much more challenging problems to work on. There are many paths to the same destination, why worry about the path when in the end you get to where you wanted to be?

Thanks but this is fixed. I had my reasons for wanting to use text so needed a solution to the problem, not a work around.
