• You guys (WP) should do a better job of screening and/or even certifying the plugins that are listed in your directory.

I’m constantly receiving emails warning of security vulnerabilities associated with plugins.

Also, I’m spending way too much time dealing with plugins that wreak havoc with my site (using up server resources, and carrying viruses).

If Apple can do it with apps. then you guys can do it with plugins.

Plugin Review Team can be reached by email at plugins@www.remarpro.com, or via the #pluginreview channel on Slack. You’ll need to join that channel.

I’m not part of the plugin review team, and I don’t know them but…

If Apple can do it with apps. then you guys can do it with plugins.

That would be true if www.remarpro.com made as much money out of the plugins as Apple does from their app store. Everyone here, including the plugin review team, are volunteers that don’t get paid to do what they do.

If you’re having problems with plugins burning up server resources, it’s best to ask in the supprot forum for that plugin so that the author knows what’s happening and can investigate. If you have proof of plugins in the repository here carrying viruses or malicious code of some sort, you should email the plugins team at [email protected] to report it.
