    Hello Leon,
first of all, thanks for your work on this great plugin. It works great.

I see that you’re an open source software enthusiast as well. WP2Static supports Amazon S3 as a form of storage. With Minio, there exists a FOSS and self-hosted alternative to S3.

Minio is S3 compatible, but the way the WP2Static S3 exporter works, I can’t specify my Minio instance to connect to. Do you think there would be a possibility to open up the S3 Exporter so it’s usable with Minio? Maybe it’s just a small addition, considering the Developers claim S3 compatibility.

    Greetings from Germany to Australia

    Hi @nerdovic,

Great suggestion! I’m almost ready with version 7, after which I’ll add some new deploy methods. DigitalOcean Spaces also has an S3 compatible API, I believe, so may be good to do those at the same time.

Feel free to request via a GitHub Issue, I then consolidate feature requests into a parent issue for product roadmap.

Are you currently deploying the exported files via CLI to Minio?

    Cheers,

    Leon

    Hi Leon,

Sounds great! I’ll add a comment to the Roadmap issue.

Currently, I’m going the very rudimentary way of downloading the .zip file and uploading it to Minio manually with mc mirror, which is the Minio Client command-line tool.

    Appreciate the quick response, cheers!

    Hi there,

Closing this issue due to inactivity / assumed resolution. Please re-open to continue the discussion.

You may also try an early development release of version 7, which brings a lot of fixes and some nice new features:
