Search console shows improper url

    hi,

    i have yoast free and have successfully connected to Google Search Console. After waiting a few days i have the first item in the Yoast Console tab, and it lists a 404 and the link as https://kivalettrash.com/KIValetTrash.com. So obviously that is incorrect, so my question is, where do i fix this?

    In Google Console the property is listed as https://kivalettrash.co, which seems right. Any insight would awesome!

    i don’t like to reply to my own thread, but i am totally stuck and am pretty sure this is an easy fix, i just really need some advice. I would appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

    i verified and connected to Google Search console, but somehow Yoast thinks my home page is https://kivalettrash.com/KIValetTrash.com which is wrong of course.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for the email! There is a link at the bottom of the page that goes to a 404. See image: https://pasteboard.co/IbtgCfc.png

    Once you fix the link mouse over the error in SEO-Search Console and select mark as fixed. The URL is then expected to not return.
