Can an author leave an internal comment about a page for another author?

My issue is I write posts with another author, and sometimes I need for this other person to leave a specific post alone, or to follow specific guidelines, but I can’t find any plugins or fields where to leave this information so my partner can see it before editing a post in ways that I don’t intend.

for instance, lets say Ive written a post about the russian revolution, but for SEO reasons I need the article to be formatted in a specific way that he cannot touch. I spend an hour or more formatting the article, and then he comes in and edits the heck out of the article losing all the good SEO I put into and wasting my time.

Since we collaborate on hundreds of articles everyday this needs to be done in-house so to speak
