    Oh I am sorry
    I am a new user of WordPress
    and there is something wrong with my WordPress or some other software
    when I run install.php
    it shows this
    * Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?
    I know that I have typed the correct hostname and my database server is running as follows :

    wordpress is designed for mySQL, so that might be it

    A MyODBC driver should be unnecessary, since WP connects to MySQL directly. Also, try using ‘localhost’ for DB_HOST.
    Of course, it all comes down to what omanno remarked on.

    Also, it looks like you’re running a Windows server. Windows by default uses IIS and not Apache. I pretty sure some people on these forums have reported getting WP to work with IIS but Linux/Apache is the recommended server environment for it.

    WordPress works fine on IIS, but many plugins that use additional resources do not.
