Hi, I need to make a product where the person has 3 choices but within the choices there are different prices options. So it’s a food service where each “product” would be a choice of 3 things from 3 lists (protein, starch, veggies). They can choose all 3 to be from one list, or 2 from a list and 1 from another, or 1 of each. Within each group, different items items have different prices, i.e chicken is $1 but shrimp would be $2. So I’m trying to figure out how I can structure this in WooCommerce. I know how to set up variable products but that’s been with one variation (i.e. size, color) where the price didn’t change. Is this something I can do in WooCommerce (and if so how)? Or is there a plugin that works with Woo that could help me do this?

Thank you for your help! Struggling to wrap my brain around this one today!

    Hey there!

It sounds like the Variable products default function of WooCommerce would work well. You can set up a special price for each combination that you are wanting to sell.

You can also do something like https://www.woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/ , but I think just variable products would work best for you and require no other plugin.

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!

Thanks! I was thinking of that but would I have to make a variation for every possible combination? Because that would be easily hundreds of products. Or can I make a variable product where the items they choose add up to create one price for a product?
