    Hi team,

I wanted to know if the following is possible :

    1 – Visitor chooses date
2 – Visitor chooses time for the chosen date
3 – Selects/adds food items (from 2-3 different categories) from the list of options
4 – Adds additional comments if needed
5 – Pays and the order gets confirmed.

Please let me know if yiur solution allows the above.

    Thank you.

    Cheers!

  • Hi Rajiv,

Yes, this flow is possible for table booking.
You can try it yourself here: https://www.pronto-ny.com/

    1. click on table reservation
    2. choose no of persons, date, time, add comments –> click next
    3. under “Ordering method”, switch from “table reservation” to “order ahead”
    4. choose food items
    5. add comments if needed
    6. pay and get the order confirmed

    Also, one quick question.

In case I need to have only two ‘Ordering Method’s – Table Reservation & Order Ahead, can we do that and remove other options like ‘Pickup,…’?

And can we customize the ‘Order Ahead’ to something else?

    Thanks,
    Rajiv

In the restaurant admin, make sure you select NO for pickup and delivery and they will no longer show up.

No, you cannot rename Order Ahead.

Note: We have on the roadmap an improvement to the flow. It will be like this:

    1. click on table reservation
    2. choose no of persons, date, time, add comments –> click next
    3. NEW –> Question (something like): do you want to order the food now? –> click yes
    4. choose food items
    5. go to checkout (order ahead is pre-selected, so the client will no longer have to switch)
    5. add comments if needed
    6. pay and get the order confirmed
