    Hi,
    2 feature requests for this great plugin.

    When removing “Proudly powered by WordPress” text – it would be great if we could replace the text with a ? 2019 copyright sign and year to be displayed in the website footer.

    Would also like to see a tick box to remove site title and tagline. If we are using a large logo, the site title and tagline would be repetitive if the text is incorporated in the logo. Would like to hide the site title and tagline from view on the header – but – still let the site title appear in the footer.

    Thanks,
    Kindest regards, Walter James “Jim” Wicks

    Hi Jim,

    Have just pushed a version that allows you to enter your own text (or HTML) to replace the “Proudly powered by WordPress” text.

    I’ll get an option to hide the title and description done soon.

    Hi Oliver,

    I just updated the plugin. Your new feature works like a champ. Thank you!

    Got one more feature request. I’d like to adjust the size of the image captions. I use a lot of Vimeo video embeds and the captions are so not impressive. Would love to see this feature in your plugin.

    Thank you!

    Hi Jim,

    Glad the update works for you.

    With regards to your feature request, I’m afraid that this plugin is for theme specific modifications and changing the size of a Gutenberg block caption is theme independent.

    However, please try using (changing) this CSS in “Customizer – Additional CSS” …

    .wp-block-embed-vimeo figcaption {
        font-size: 13px;
    }

    … which should work ??

    Oliver,

    Thank you!
    I absolutely love your plugin. And, you are a scholar and gentleman for providing the CSS. Keep up the great work!

    Hello Jim,

    Just keeping you updated. I’ve just pushed version 1.1.7 which has options to hide the site title and / or description.

    Let me know if these work as you require.

    Many thanks,

    Oliver

    That’s what we like to hear ??

    Thanks for the guide Oliver. I had the same problem and fixed it with a slight variant, based on yours:

    .wp-block-embed-youtube figcaption {
    color: #dd0000;
    font-size: 1.0rem;
    font-style: italic;
    line-height: 1.2rem;
    margin: 0.4rem 0rem;
    }
