Front Page/Post content Not Showing

    Hello,
    The content of the Front Page (Post) is not showing up. I have tried switching between ‘static Page’ and ‘Your Latest Posts’ in th eFront Page display – nothing works. Page source shows all the HTML code alright though.

    This happens just last month while I made a minor update to the content – The mode was WYSIWYG (!). After that I tried deleting and putting the code back in ‘code’ mode. still no luck!

    Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi, thanks for reporting your issue.

    If you’re having trouble getting things working, make sure you follow the troubleshooting steps below :

    1. Use the latest software versions : make sure the theme and WordPress are up to date.
    2. Documentation : read our documentation and check our troubleshooting tips.
    3. Cache plugin : if you are using a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.
    4. Browser : clear your browser’s cache / history
    5. Deactivate your child theme if you are using one.
    6. Check for plugin conflict : deactivate all of your plugins. If it fixes the issue, re-activate your plugins one by one, until you identify the plugin in conflict.

    Hi Nicolas,
    Thanks for your suggestions. The problem was created due to WP’s new editor (Gutenberg) – one of the most illogical things arbitrarily imposed upon the users.
    This unbelievably smart(!) editor keeps on “correcting” the html just as one hits the ‘update’!
    It were those ‘corrections’ that were making the HTML unparsable. Switching to the Classic Editor and reposting the content solved the problem.
