• Hello,

My website is an affiliate website for furniture. The question is what can I do to make the pictures look good? For example, in the link I provided (and would like to delete after this problem is solved), you can see that my couches are too ‘zoomed in’. This is not the case for all of them, but for too many it is. I tried to change this in customizer, but it is not so easy because:

    – When I go to the customizer and change the images to show in original size, it looks ugly because the images are not the same sizes and differ in height.
    – Changing the ratio of the pictures was also not working, because I was able to make the couches look good in the picture, but then for example my tables fell half of the pictures.

I use Woocommerce and WP All import for the images.

Can you please help me with the solution for this? Thank you in advance!

  • Hello,

I just checked your site but didn’t see the issue as you mentioned. Can you please mention which products have zoomed image?

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. In the link there are a lot of images which have the issue I want to be solved, for example ‘BePureHome Rodeo Bank 2,5-Zits Velvet Honing Geel’. ‘Kare Design Milchbar Honey 3-Zits Bank – B233 Cm – Honing Geel Fluweel’ is another example. A lot of images have this issue. On the page of the link you can only see a part of the sofa, but when you click on it and go to the real product page you can see the whole sofa. It would be nice to have the whole sofa on the image on the link that I included, instead of first having to click to the specific sofa to see the whole image.

Could you help me with this?

Okay, go to Customize > Woocommerce > Product Images and select ‘Uncropped option’. Clear cache and check it works or not.

Thank you, it seems to work for the upper products of the product archives. But as you scroll down, I still see a lot of images with this issue. For example: ‘Bank Ravenia In Velours geel, stof, 2,5-zits, stijvol landelijk’ or ‘Bank Suite Stof grijs, stof, 4-zits, elegant chic’

Do you maybe have another solution?

Try to use the Regenerate Thumbnail plugin. It should fix the issue.

Thank you, I tried the plugin. It took a very long time to regenerate all the images. After the plugin was finished, I cleared the cache, but unfortunately I don’t see any difference?

That’s odd. Try to the swtich theme to the default wordpress theme like twenty nineteen or storefront temporarily and check it works properly or not.
