Domain Change Troubles

  • I used the plug in to change my domain name from https://www.4x4nearandfar.com to https://www.4x4allrover.com – but it doesn’t look like it worked. My WP site is hosted with Bluehost and I backed it up first. Now when I go to view it, I get a version of 4x4nearandfar that is just type, left aligned, no images or any graphics. The only thing I did different from the instructions was that I checked to change https as well. How can I fix this? I’m not an experienced coder. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Caroline

    I ended up contacting Bluehost and the fixed my domain name (back to the original). With a Basic hosting package you cannot edit the domain name, so I’m sorry to say this plug in did not work for me. I ended up purchasing the domain name I wanted to use, parked it and now it points to the website I created under the original name. This work around is sufficient for my purposes.
