Links are not saved

    Hi it’s me again, running crazy as i put a lot of links online and non of theme is saved….

    I read that maybe something is wrong with the max_input_vars (in your help page), but even if i put online just one link including Title and Subtitle and Favicon (nothing more) it is not saved…

    I have put on links yesterday without any problems, today it worked till i have entered 16 links, after that nothing worked anymore and i have no idea why, culd you suggest something?

    Mybe there is some limiations in the directory itself? Where is the Database of the links? so i can enter all the links manually in the database, just in case nothing else will work…

    If you were able to add 16 links, and not being able to save after that then you have run into the server limit.

    Your server has a limit for how many form fields it will process at a time. So, after you have added a certain number of listings/list items, the server refuses to save the Lists.

    The server’s configuration that dictates this is max_input_vars. You need to Set it to a high limit like max_input_vars = 15000. Since this is a server setting – you may need to contact your hosting company’s support for this.

    The only limiting factor for saving a List is the max_input_vars value in your server.

    Hi there,
    we will try that out, however would be great to know this: “Where is the Database of the links? so i can enter all the links manually in the database” This is also helpful for backups etc. ??

    The database is the same WordPress database and tables.

    You cannot manually insert linka into the database because the data is saved as serialized post meta.
