Automatic blacklists

I’ve just had an attack that lasted around 36 hours, albeit nothing too intense. The peak was the last 4 hours or so at around 3 login attempts per minute. The IP addresses kept cycling so the lockouts weren’t all that effective. I’ve just pasted the binarydefense banlist into the blacklist settings.

When logging into my site now it’s now fairly slow. Is this because my server is still recovering or because AIOWPSEC takes time to process the blacklist? If the latter, is there a more efficient way you could could add to subscribe to externally hosted blacklists such as https://www.binarydefense.com/banlist.txt
