Gallery folder and thumbnails not being created

    After the most recent update when creating a new gallery the folder is not being created on the server. I manually create the folder, upload images via FTP, then select “scan folder for new images”. No thumbnails are created. Tried creating new thumbnails from the bulk actions and still no thumbnails.

    I checked the gallery folder on the server and there isn’t a “thumbnails” folder.

    Using the current version of WordPress, Apache 2.4.38, OpenSSL 1.0.2r, PHP 7.0.33, MYSQL 5.6.43.
