    Hello Kolja,

I am appreciating the plugin you have created, thank you for maintaining it!

I have an issue with trying to add line-height value to the secondary title styling, nothing seems to effect the spacing in the row of recommended posts at the bottom of the page (link below). The secondary title is only visible as two lines when the browser width is wide enough to display the posts in a single row.

I have tried: <span style="color:#777;font-size:14px;letter-spacing:2px;line-height:80%;">%secondary_title%</span> <br/> %title% in the title format of the Secondary Title settings.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello again,

I’m still awaiting any support you may have around this. I have been searching for instructions how to adjust the span style but I don’t know enough about it.

I have tried using a px value and a em value instead of the % for line-height but none of them worked.

Any assistance you are willing to give is appreciated.

Hi @even-dawn. Thanks for your patience. I can’t offer the same kind of support as usual because my main notebook is broken and still in repair. But I’m going to get back to you as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay.

I can’t test it now myself, but maybe the !important option would do the trick.

    Try this:

    <span style="color:#777 !important;font-size:14px !important;letter-spacing:2px !important;line-height:80% !important;">%secondary_title%</span> <br/> %title%

Let me know if that works for you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me. The !important option didn’t do the trick unfortunately. Any other options?

For some reason this post The Wild Open Origin Story is displaying the span code in the post title area?

    Please help!

I’m going to have to uninstall the plugin since I can’t resolve the issues I am having with it. Also, I donated via PayPal but can’t deactivate the annoying notice – which is very annoying.

    Hi @even-dawn,

I’m trying to help as much as I can, and I’m very grateful for your donation. However, please keep in mind that a) this is not my only plugin and b) I also have a full-time job that keeps me rather busy, that’s why I can’t always reply instantly, even though I’d like to.

If the !important thing doesn’t work, it’s most likely that it’s either being overwritten by your theme or simply not rendered. I assume the latter, looking at your site: https://i.imgur.com/afGu3WV.jpg

Rendering problems are annoying to solve from the distance since all I can do is give you code for trial and error. The only thing I can offer you is that you give me temporary access to your dashboard and FTP files which I’ve done countless of times before for other users. That way, I can quickly do this myself and then let you know the cause of it. If you’re comfortable with that, please contact me via [email protected].

Regarding the notice: Which one do you mean? There are two: One showing up in the editor if you use Gutenberg and one donation notice. That, too, can be caused by individual problems, e.g. if another plugin’s JS code is fucked up and blocks the execution of the deactivation.

    Hi Kolja,

I will reactivate the plugin and send you the login details via email.

Thank you, the support is appreciated and I would prefer to use your plugin if I can get it to work as required.

    Hi @thaikolja,
    similar problem here.
I tried to style the secondary title but “!important” didn’t work.
I tried also to ad a class with the span tag and modify css with the WordPress editor, but… nothing, it didn’t work.
It’s strange because the <br/> works fine.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks a lot
