Hello, I am testing out the signup page ([woocommerce_my_account] using Dokan on WooCommerce, but I think this has nothing to do with Dokan.

If I choose ‘I am a customer’ and finish the registration, the user role in WordPress is shown correctly as ‘customer’. But if I choose ‘I am a vendor’ and finish the registration, the user role is shown as ‘none’, and the Vendor Dashboard does not show up next to Cart.

Has anybody else experienced this issue? Could you please advise how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

    Hi there,

It sounds like there could be a conflict causing this, and because Dokan creates the vendor user role, if it’s not showing up correctly you should contact them regarding this. If you wish to do some troubleshooting to help narrow down what’s causing this, please do the following:

To troubleshoot, you’ll need to deactivate plugins and your current theme and test. If you’re not (understandably) comfortable doing this on your live site, please set up a staging site and at the very least, make sure you have current backups.

To troubleshoot, please follow these steps:

    * Deactivate your theme and temporarily activate a default theme like Storefront or TwentySeventeen and test to see if this resolves the issue.
    * If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and and test again.

Assuming this gets things working correctly, please re-activate your plugins one at a time, testing between each one, until you find the plugin causing the conflict. You’ll then need to contact the plugin or theme developer for assistance.
